Zlatan Ibrahimovic has tested positive for the coronavirus, AC Milan said, with the 38-year-old Swedish star placed into quarantine at home.
The test was administered prior to AC Milan's Europa League qualifying round match against Norway's FK Bodo/Glimt, and Ibrahimovic was the only one among Milan's personnel to test positive.
"Zlatan Ibrahimovic has tested positive for COVID-19 following a second round of swab tests ahead of tonight's game against Bodo/Glimt," Milan wrote in a statement. "The club has informed the relevant authorities and the player has been promptly placed in quarantine at home. All other team members and staff have tested negative.
