WIMBLEDON, England – Margarita Gasparyan is certain that Serena Williams would have no idea who she was if she walked up to the world No. 1 in the locker room.
"I think she would say, 'Who is this?'" laughed the 20-year-old Russian on Saturday.
On Monday, the world No. 113 is playing in her first ever Wimbledon match. She faces the 20-time major champion in just her second Grand Slam tournament and fourth main draw on the tour.
At the suggestion of facing Williams, Gasparyan let out a barreling, nervous laugh.
