BALTIMORE – This was home run history in rapid form, delivered by the first three Yankees to bat Tuesday night at Camden Yards.
“It started with Grish,’’ said Aaron Judge of Trent Grisham’s leadoff drive onto Eutaw Street.
Judge and Ben Rice quickly followed with homers, though the Yankees’ first inning fireworks show wasn’t finished.
Cody Bellinger soon made it four homers in five batters against veteran Kyle Gibson, in a gruesome return to the Baltimore Orioles’ bruised and battered rotation.
“Yeah, what a performance…it was fun to watch,’’ said manager Aaron Boone, following a 15-3 victory that revved up the considerable Yankee-rooting part of the 22,164 fans here.
