Yankees 5, Orioles 4: Andrew Miller Notches 13th Save as Yankees Beat Orioles

The one-two punch of Dellin Betances and Andrew Miller at the back end of the bullpen slammed the door on yet another narrow Yankees victory, 5-4, over the Baltimore Orioles on Friday night, earning Miller his 13th save in 13 chances this season.

All eyes were on Alex Rodriguez, who passed Willie Mays for fourth on the career home run list with 661 on Thursday night. He came to the plate with runners on second and third in the first inning and drove the ball deep to center field. But Adam Jones camped under it in front of the warning track, and Rodriguez settled for a sacrifice fly.
