The Yankees have brought 27 rings to the Bronx. A Yankee fan brought one ring to the Bronx on Tuesday . . . and nearly lost it.
The fan was set to propose to his girlfriend during the Red Sox-Yankees matchup at Yankee Stadium. During the proposal attempt, the ring got loose.
The surrounding fans helped to search for it.
The dude proposing on the jumbotron opened the ring box, and no ring. Everyone was horrified. The crowd cheered. They cut away.
