World Series Game 7: Cubs and Indians Head to Extra Innings

Just as the 10th inning was about to start, the tarps came out onto the field as the game is going into a rain delay. While it is not raining particularly hard at the moment, heavier rain is expected.

This game is headed to extra innings.

Aroldis Chapman was back out to start the bottom of the ninth despite having looked completely worn out in the eighth. He got Carlos Santana to fly out before ending up in a long battle with Jason Kipnis. He fired Kipnis a steady diet of sliders rather than his signature heater and ended up in a full-count before slamming the door with a 97.
