World Series 2016: Player ratings for Indians' Game 1 shutout of Cubs; high marks for Kluber, Perez

CLEVELAND — The Cubs played their first World Series game in 71 years Tuesday night. The Cubs still have not scored a run in the World Series since 1945, though.

Roberto Perez homered twice and caught a combined seven-hitter from Corey Kluber, Andrew Miller and Cody Allen as Cleveland rolled to a 6-0 victory and a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. Game 2 is set for Wednesday, with the start time moved up to 7:08 p.m. ET because of the threat of rain late at night.
