World Series 2016: Cubs-Indians Game 7 a time to erase a lot of painful memories

CLEVELAND — Addison Russell’s third-inning grand slam fell into an entranceway in left-center field right below an exit sign, a fitting motif for the unofficial end to Game 6 of the World Series.

The Cubs led by seven runs at that point, and you knew what to do from there.

Exit Game 6, which Chicago won 9-3. Hello, Game 7, the most compelling deciding game in ages. It all goes down Wednesday night at Progressive Field (8 p.m. ET, Fox).

Chicago, this Game 7 is for you. Cleveland, this Game 7 is for you, too.
