So after the Yankees’ second consecutive loss to the Houston Astros on Saturday, it seemed that Judge had slipped into auto-response mode when asked about his team’s predicament.
“The beautiful thing about baseball — we’ve got another one,” Judge said.
As it turned out, Judge’s words were not so much sunny-side-up piffle as they were prophetic.
