Will Smith is getting one more honor from the New Orleans Saints.
The Saints will induct the late defensive end, along with former broadcaster Hokie Gajan, into the team's Hall of Fame during a ceremony Oct. 28.
Smith was only 34 when he was shot to death following a traffic accident April 9. Gajan, who will receive the Joe Gemelli Fleur de Lis award for his contributions to the, died at the age of 56 following a year-long battle with a rare cancer known as liposarcoma.
Both men were elected by the media selection committee of the Saints Hall of Fame in early March, prior to their passing.
