Before the world of horse racing turns its attention to the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, there's still plenty to celebrate from Friday night's Kentucky Oaks.
Good Cheer won the Lilles for the Fillies with jockey Luis Saez riding the Brad H. Cox-trained thoroughbred. It's third win for the Louisville-based trainer in the Kentucky Oaks since 2018. Good Cheer was the heavy favorite at 6-5 and paid off on those short odds.
Drexel Hill took second while Bless the Broken nabbed third.
