What was a topsy-turvy regular season full of twists and turns, not to mention reinvention, is finally over for the Los Angeles Lakers. They finished with a 50-32 record and hold the third seed in the Western Conference, and many believe they have at least a puncher's chance of reaching the NBA Finals and possibly winning it all.
They will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs. Minnesota appears to have somewhat of a mishmash of players, but they do have Anthony Edwards, one of the game's best players and someone who can win games almost by himself at times.
