Last Thursday, Waiters experienced a panic attack while he and his teammates flew on a chartered flight from Phoenix to Los Angeles. According to ESPN, the attack was triggered after Waiters had consumed a THC-infused edible. The 27-year-old guard, who was the fourth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, experienced an adverse reaction and required medical attention. The suspension will cost Waiters $834,483 in forfeited salary. It will also deny him a chance to obtain a $1.
