The Ohio State softball team had a tough loss against host Tennessee in its second game of the Knoxville Region of the NCAA Tournament, but now it gets a second chance to show the country that what it has done so far this year is no fluke.
The Buckeyes lead the country in a lot of offensive categories, but the power that they have displayed all season long had a bit of an outage against arguably the best pitcher in the country, the Vols Karlyn Pickens. OSU managed to scrape across a couple of runs late in the game in a winner's bracket matchup, but it wasn't enough in a 4-2 loss on Saturday.
