WFT's all-time sack leader Ryan Kerrigan joins rival Eagles

After 10 seasons as the Washington Football Team's most feared defender, Ryan Kerrigan is joining a division rival.

The all-time sack leader in Washington announced Monday that he's signing with the Philadelphia Eagles. Kerrigan, a first-round draft pick in 2011, joins the Eagles after tallying 95.5 career sacks, 26 forced fumbles and 147 quarterback hits, all with Washington.

Kerrigan played and started in every game during his first eight seasons, tallying four Pro Bowl nods in the process. He played in all 16 games last season, starting just one amid a youth movement on the defensive front.
