The commitment run continued for the West Virginia Mountaineers football program with a pledge from versatile West Florida transfer cornerback Ty Crutcher.
Crutcher, 5-foot-10, 175-pounds, committed to the Mountaineers following an official visit to campus giving the program another defensive back into the fold.
The Alabama native spent one season at West Florida where he appeared in 10 games and recorded 13 tackles, 4 pass breakups and an interception. Prior to that Crutcher spent time at Dodge City C.C. where he recorded 19 tackles and a pair of interceptions during the 2023 season.
Crutcher played wide receiver in 2022 and caught seven passes for 98 yards across three games.
