Valentina Shevchenko added to her legacy Saturday at UFC 315 when she achieved the first title defense in her second championship reign against Manon Fiorot.
After regaining the belt against Alexa Grasso in September, Shevchenko (25-4-1 MMA, 14-3-1 UFC) showed she is capable of fending off the next wave of contenders when she turned back outspoken challenger Fiorot (12-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) by unanimous decision in the co-headliner at Bell Centre in Montreal.
