Watson give Saints a spark

(Reuters) - New Orleans tight end Benjamin Watson delivered the performance of his career in the Saints' 31-21 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday and could be a sign the team are finally getting to grips with the departure of Jimmy Graham.

Watson spent the previous two seasons in New Orleans playing second fiddle to Graham, who was the team’s leading pass catcher before being traded to the Seattle Seahawks in the off-season. Graham’s absence, combined with various other factors including quarterback Drew Brees’ aging arm, had seen the Saints lose four of their first five games.
