Johnathan Thurston, one of Australia's top rugby players, had a fairly close encounter with a shark during a television appearance this week.
Thurston was waiting to do a cross to Sky News when a fin appeared in the water behind him.

The North Queensland skipper wasn’t sure what was stalking him and wasn’t about to jump in the water to find out, but it certainly looked like a shark.
