Watch: Pirates turn first-of-its-kind triple play

The triple play. It’s a glorious, rare feat. While grand slams, no-hitters and bench-clearing brawls may get more attention, its arguable that the triple play is just as spectacular.

And, on Saturday night, the Pirates certainly proved that. The team executed a 4-5-4 triple play — the first one in MLB history — during their 7-5 win against the St. Louis Cardinals.
