If Muhammad Ali is the most revered heavyweight champion of all-time, Mike Tyson, at his peak, was one of the most feared.
The two men never met in the boxing ring, as Ali’s final bout with Trevor Berbick took place four years before Tyson knocked out Hector Mercedes in the first round of his first professional fight in 1985.

So by the time the two men sat down with Sugar Ray Leonard on "The Arsenio Hall Show" in 1989, the hypothetical Ali-Tyson matchup had already played out a million times in the minds of others.
