If this year's Ohio State softball team is good at just one thing, it's hitting home runs. (Of course, the team is good at more than just that.) And nothing showed that more than the absolutely monster home run that Morgan Frye hit in their NCAA Tournament opener against North Carolina.
The Buckeyes gave up three runs in the first inning, but that isn't a problem for a team with this much firepower. Two solo home runs plus one conventional run over the next few innings tied it at three. The Tar Heels took the lead back with a solo shot in the top of the fifth, but the Buckeyes responded with their third home run of the day to tie it back up again.
