Kansas' director of basketball operations (DOBO) keeps forcing his boss, Bill Self, to pay KU students thousands of dollars.
For the second year in a row, Jayhawks DOBO Brennan Bechard sank a half-court shot (on his first and only official try) at Late Night in the Phog -- Kansas' Midnight Madness event. The shot was good for $10,000 to the lucky student who won the chance to earn the cheddar. And this student wound up being a perfect drawing/candidate.
The interesting part is, Jordan Stiers picked Bechard because he did the same thing last year -- so why not give it a go, right?
