The Commanders are looking to bolster their defense this offseason, and recently hosted a meeting with a top safety in the draft that would certainly help the secondary.
Jonas Sanker tells me that he visited Washington on Tuesday for a meeting, not a workout with the team. This isn't the first meeting Sanker has had with the Commanders, as he also met with the team at the Senior Bowl and the NFL combine.
The former Virginia Cavalier is a versatile defender who can line up in the box, out deep, and even as a slot corner.
