OAKLAND, Calif. — When the Golden State Warriors come, they do it in waves, as relentless as any tide pulling across the San Francisco Bay. The Memphis Grizzlies are merely the latest to feel the brunt of their momentum.
Stephen Curry, the N.B.A.’s most valuable player, scored 18 points as the Warriors dominated the Grizzlies, 98-78, at Oracle Arena on Wednesday. With a three-games-to-two lead in the best-of-seven series, the Warriors, with the N.B.A.’s best record in the regular season, stand one victory away from their first conference finals since 1976.
Game 6 is Friday in Memphis.
