Walt Weiss has stepped down as the Colorado Rockies manager after four seasons as the team's manager, the team announced.
Weiss' contract ended on Sunday as the Rockies concluded a 75–87 for third place in the National League West Division.
He posted a 283–365 record in his time with the Rockies. He previously served as an assistant to former general manager Dan O'Dowd from 2002 to 2008 and was a former player from 1994 to 1997.
