Veteran running back Frank Gore is coming home to Miami, signing a one-year deal with the Dolphins, a source confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter on Thursday.
Gore, who will be entering his 14th season, starred at the University of Miami before beginning his NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers in 2005.
Gore will be 35 years old at the start of the 2018 season. If the 2017 season was any indication, Gore proved that age is just a number.
He rushed for 961 yards for the Indianapolis Colts in 2017, just 39 yards shy of a 10th career 1,000-yard season.
