The Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) has postponed all matches this weekend following the death of Penarol fan Hernan Fioritto.
Fioritto was reportedly shot by rival Nacional supporters while celebrating Penarol's 125th anniversary in the town of Santa Lucia on Sept. 28.
Following news of the supporter's death on Friday, the AUF has responded by suspending all football in the country this weekend.
An AUF statement read: "The Executive Council of the AUF, after the lamentable fact of the death of a football fan aged just 21, has decided to suspend all activities organised by the AUF for this weekend.
