Former professional boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko urged the rest of the world to pay attention to what's happening in his home country of Ukraine. Klitschko wrote a lengthy message Thursday that condemned Russian president Vladimir Putin for invading Ukraine.
Klitschko called Putin's actions a "blatant violation of international law." Klitschko also said Putin is putting the "European way of life" under threat.
Klitschko shared a portion of that post on Instagram. At the end of his comment, Klitschko linked off to a larger statement. The statement is available in both English and German.
