Many wondered how much Alexander Gustafsson had left in him. After falling short in two title shots, the Swede still held out hope he could reach the pinnacle again and get one more chance at the belt.
Gustafsso moved one step closer to that on Sunday with a dismantling of another title contender in Glover Teixeira. Gustafsson thoroughly dominated Teixeira with his massive uppercuts and precision speed. He was able to avoid many of the heavy swings from Teixeira by simply running out of harm's way before landing a punch of his own.
