No one knew what to expect when Alexander Gustafsson battled Jan Blachowitz in Saturday's co-main event of UFC Fight Night 93.
Gustafsson hadn't fought in 11 months since a razor-thin light heavyweight title fight loss against Daniel Cormier at UFC 192. "The Mauler" told Sporting News he was going to beat Blachowitz by knockout or submission.

He got something he wasn't expecting — Blachowitz hanging around. But Gustafsson did enough, defeating Blachowitz by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
Blachowitz, of Poland, performed better than expected in the opening round.
