MONTREAL – Valentina Shevchenko and Manon Fiorot won't have to talk anymore before UFC 315 after Friday's final faceoff at ceremonial weigh-ins.
Shevchenko (24-4-1 MMA, 13-3-1 UFC) will attempt to further build on her legacy as the women's flyweight GOAT by starting her second reign as champion in positive fashion. She has a stern challenger, however, in the form of Fiorot (12-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC), who has yet to taste defeat inside the octagon.
The friction between champion and challenger has been noticeable in the months, weeks and days leading up to UFC 315. Now the time is nearly here for them to clash for the 125-pound belt.
