Two dirty plays by Falcons defense injures Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater, leads to one ejection

It’s rare to see two dirty hits on a quarterback on the same play, but the Atlanta Falcons pulled it off.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater went down due to an injury, and the Falcons can be expecting a couple of hefty fines in upcoming days.

First, defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. kicked Bridgewater as he was beginning to move up in the pocket and scramble on a third down. He kicked Bridgewater right in his knees, one of which was seriously injured years ago with the Minnesota Vikings.
