The dominoes continue to fall following the outbreak of COVID-19 on the Miami Marlins.
According to Joel Sherman of the New York Post, Tuesday’s game between the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies has been postponed. Game 1 of that two-game series, which was supposed to be played on Monday, was also postponed after Marlins players tested positive for the coronavirus while still in Philadelphia.
No positive tests reported on Phillies
This outbreak, which is continuing to snowball, began over the weekend when the Marlins traveled to Philadelphia to play the Phillies. Marlins players decided to play on Sunday despite several of their teammates testing positive, even though they’d likely been exposed.
