The first hurdle for draft prospects at the Combine? Measurements. And Thursday morning, Cal quarterback Jared Goff passed … barely.
Goff measured at 6-feet-4 exactly and 215 pounds, which are positive numbers and the same height and weight he was listed at all season on the California roster. His weight is a tad leaner than ideal, but with his 6-4 frame, scouts believe he will continue to fill out with bulk, especially his lower body.
But the most anticipated number for Goff was the hand size. He measured at nine inches exactly, which isn't an ideal number for quarterbacks, but also not a deal-breaker.
