Todd Gurley was the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year last season. His sophomore campaign is not going so well.
The Los Angeles Rams running back has just 740 rushing yards and five touchdowns this season after running for more than 1,100 yards and 10 scores as a rookie.
Gurley, whom the Rams selected in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, was held to 61 yards on 16 carries in Sunday's 42-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The Rams, who began the season 3-1, are now 4-9 and frustration has clearly set in.
"It looked like a middle school offense out there," Gurley said Sunday without having any real explanation of how to spark the NFL's lowest-scoring offense.
