Tiger struggles, while Johnson shines at PGA

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. — A familiar name was atop the leaderboard halfway through Thursday’s first round of the 97th edition of the PGA Championship.

In years past the name would have been Tiger Woods.

This year, however, it’s Dustin Johnson.

USA TODAY Sports' Steve DiMeglio talk about Dustin Johnson's rough history at Whistling Straits and his chances of finally winning a Major at the PGA Championship.

Johnson, who grabbed the first round lead in the U.S. Open and British Open this year, became the pace-setter once again in a major with a 6-under-par 66 at Whistling Straits.
