The Toronto Raptors announced that three members of the organization were found to be positive for COVID-19 during league-mandated testing prior to training camp.
It’s unclear if those three are players or other members of Toronto’s staff. Those three individuals are self-isolating, while contact tracing and testing have shown that there is no spread to the rest of the team.
As a result of the announcement, the Raptors cancelled media availability for practice on Monday, where head coach Nick Nurse and point guard Kyle Lowry were scheduled to speak. The Raptors arrived in Tampa last week, and held their first group workout on Sunday.
