The New York Jets have released punter Thomas Morstead. The move continued a youth trend the team has taken toward the roster this offseason.
Morstead, 39, has spent the past two season as the Jets' punter.
Even in that short amount of time, Morstead clearly enjoyed his time in the green and white.
After Morstead learned his fate, he took time out to send a thanks to the Jets organization and his fans in a video shared to social media.
