The Max Strus game: Chicago native drops 31 points vs. Bulls to advance Heat to NBA playoffs

Led by Jimmy Butler's 31 points (22 in the 2nd half), five rebounds, and three assists, the Heat defeated the Bulls, 102-91. Max Strus added 31 points, including a Play-In record-tying seven 3pt FGM in the victory. DeMar DeRozan tallied 26 points, four rebounds, and nine assists for the Bulls. With the victory, the Heat have secured the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference and will face the No. 1 seed Milwaukee Bucks (5:30 p.m. ET, TNT) in the First Round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs Presented by Google Pixel.

The Chicago Bulls' season is over and they can thank a native son of Chicago, not to mention a former Bulls player, for sending them packing.
