LAS VEGAS — Win or lose, Floyd Mayweather stands to make more than $150 million when he fights Manny Pacquiao on May 2, and his banker isn’t the only one waiting expectantly.
“I hope he’ll have a little left over,” said Brian Burton, CEO of Three Square Food Bank in Las Vegas that received a $200,000 donation from Mayweather in 2012. “I’m sure he’s got a lot of people coming at him, and everybody wants to be a part of it.”
Car dealers, strippers, family members, jewelers, sports books and charitable groups figure to be among those who will enjoy Mayweather’s payday.
