Now that we know who made the three All-NBA teams, it’s time for the league to reveal the winners of the other awards. Though the league won’t officially let the cat out of the bag until its first-annual awards show June 26, the NBA did whittle down the field a bit Thursday night.
The league announced the three finalists for each of the major awards — MVP, Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Sixth Man of the Year, Most Improved Player of the Year and Coach of the Year — giving fans a little more than a month to further debate which player will walk away with which award.
