The Boston Celtics may have found one of the steals of the 2024 NBA draft on their roster in their win over the Brooklyn Nets this past Tuesday (March 18) night. That steal would be rookie shooting guard Baylor Scheierman, who put up an impressive 20 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals on 7-of-8 shooting (including the Creighton alum hitting 6-of-7 shots from beyond the arc) overall.
Scheierman, who the Celtics picked up last summer with the No. 30 overall pick of the draft, had mostly seen minutes with the Maine Celtics at the G League level given how stacked Boston's roster has been this season.
