The Aggies dominated South Carolina in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals, securing a 12-4 run-rule victory and advancing to the next round. The Aggies softball team started slow, allowing South Carolina to take an early 1-0 lead, but quickly found their rhythm. Kennedy Powell and Mya Perez each launched two-run homers in the second inning, giving A&M a 4-1 advantage.
South Carolina fought back with a two-run homer in the third and another run in the fourth, cutting the lead to 4-3.
