Texas A&M softball is hosting a regional in the NCAA Tournament and as the overall No. 1 seed, they will host a Super Regional if they make it through the double-elimination first round. This is the second straight year the Aggies hosted a regional in College Station.
The Aggies broke into the Super Regional last year but they lost to Texas in a best-of-three series in Austin. Texas A&M's best finish since its 1987 NCAA championship was in 2008, when they were still in the Big 12. The Aggies were runners-up in the national title against Arizona State.
