The Braves have joined forces with Terrapin Brewing Co. to serve its regional brews at their new ballpark development sprouting up in north Atlanta.
Terrapin, based in Athens, Ga., signed a deal with the team for the Terrapin Taproom, a new restaurant opening next season next to SunTrust Park. It's part of The Battery Atlanta, the retail and entertainment district tied to the stadium project. The agreement was announced this week.

"We wanted to partner with Terrapin because they've been crafting beers right up the road in Athens and have developed a strong southern following, so we knew right away they would be a natural fit with the Braves," said Derek Schiller, Braves president of business.
