An NFL spokesman declined to comment to Sporting News on Monday night as to whether an offseason arrest has affected Jackson’s eligibility to play if signed.
A source told Sporting News the Seahawks have kept in direct contact with Jackson but it doesn’t appear a signing is imminent. The source said Jackson told the Seahawks he was cleared but the team hasn’t confirmed his status with league headquarters.
