Sylvester Stallone thinks Kobe Bryant should get a statue in Philadelphia next to Rocky

One Philadelphia sports legend would be happy to share the spotlight with another. Rocky — or at least the guy who plays him — believes Kobe Bryant should get a statue in Philadelphia.

Sylvester Stallone was asked about that possibility in February, and was on board with the idea, according to TMZ. Stallone said Bryant should “absolutely” get a statue next to the Rocky statue in Philly.

While Bryant never played for any Philadelphia teams, he has significant ties to the city. Bryant was born there, and attended high school in Philadelphia. Though he spent all of his professional career in Los Angeles, Bryant remained a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan.
