The Suns' head coach had his arm around NBA Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo as he said, "I just wanted to come and congratulate you guys because you guys deserve it. I'm thankful for the experience. You made me a better coach and you made us a better team. Congratulations."
But even with the class act, the emotions did set in during his postgame press conference.
"I think it's going to take me a minute," the Suns head coach said when he was asked to process what he's learned from his first NBA Finals.
