Matt "Megatoad" Stonie upset eight-time defending champion Joey Chestnut to win the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest by polishing off 62 hot dogs and buns to Chestnut's 60 on Saturday.
"I trained hard for this, and I came prepared," Stonie said, after paying homage to Chestnut.
Tim "Eater X" Janus was a distant third, stomaching 35 hot dogs and buns.
